What is PDLC smart film?
PDLC (polymer dispersed liquid crystal) film is a thin layer that sits on your existing window glass. When it's powered, the crystals line up and you can see straight through. Change the power and it turns private. Bl4ckoutPro is made for car windows and wires to a simple push-button controller.
How fast does it switch?
Clear to private in under a second.
Can I set it somewhere between clear and dark?
Yes. The film is continuously adjustable from 84% down to 2% visible light transmission (VLT), so you can pick the level you want rather than just on or off.
Does it block heat and UV when it's clear?
Yes. It blocks 99% of UV and 80% of infrared heat in both the clear and private states.
Do I need an app or my phone?
No. Everything runs from a single wired push-button controller. Nothing to pair, charge or update.

Which kit do I need?
Each Single Window Kit covers one front or rear door window. Order one kit per window you want to switch, and choose front or rear when you order.
Will it fit my car?
Every film is cut to order. If you're not sure about sizing, send us your car's make, model and year before you order and we'll confirm it for you.
Can I install it myself?
You can if you have basic 12V wiring experience. If not, we recommend a professional install.
How long does install take?
A professional install takes about 45–60 minutes per window.

Where do you ship?
We ship Australia-wide. Available shipping options and costs for your address are shown at checkout.
When will my order ship?
Your film is cut to size after you order, then packed and sent. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as it's on its way.
How do I track my order?
Use the link in your shipping email, or head to our Track Your Order page.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Because film is cut to order, we can only make changes before it's been cut.

What does the warranty cover?
The film and controller are covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Get in touch with your order number and a short description of the problem. A photo or video helps us sort it out faster.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
If Bl4ckoutPro isn't right for you, contact us and we'll walk you through it. The full conditions are in our refund policy.
Care & use
Keeping it looking and working like new.
How do I clean the film?
Use a soft microfibre cloth with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid scrapers, abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.
Is it road legal?
Window tint rules vary by state, especially for front side windows. Check the limits where you live before using the darker settings while driving.
